Case Study: Narrative Marketing

I work closely with the marketing team at Narrative to keep a cohesive brand and brainstorm ways to release new content to keep existing and potential clients in mind. I help Narrative with brand management day to day from developing presentation decks and updating website graphics. To celebrate five years of narrative the firm wanted to reimagine the logo. During summer 2024, I led a brand project to refresh the logo, pitch the concept to the partners, and update the brand collateral.

The new logo uses lots of elements from the original logo but now focuses on more dimension and brings a forward-leaning movement. There’s a lighter blue “bridge” to symbolize the firm’s commitment to connecting the client’s stories with our work.

From the old logo to the current logo, there were multiple iterations. The partners wanted the brand to feel fresh, professional, and exciting. Below are several concepts before we chose the current logo.

Collaborating with the marketing team to strategize concepts means lots of fun projects ranging from social media, business cards, holiday cards, presentation decks, website assets, promotional advertisements, and email design. Since Narrative is a younger firm, there have been lots of opportunities to find new design tools to discover the best solutions to send emails, host an agency website, work with new vendors, and more to find solutions that work best with the team.
