Mini Projects
This is a collection of projects I completed my sophomore year at Purdue University in my visual communication design studio courses.
Postcard Designs
I created nine different postcard designs of fruits and printed them out for use.
Green Lake Poster
In this poster design project, I chose to create a design for Green Lake Park. The popular park is located in Seattle, Washington. I wanted to create graphics to show the activities and landmarks around the lake. On the poster I created icons of popular activities around the lake including hammocking, swimming, boating, attending the theater, basketball at the community center and rollerblading.
History Design Book
During the semester I have researched Bauhaus the German Art School and presented about the famous school. Then I created a design book that explained the school and mimicked the style throughout the book. When I researched the Bauhaus style I noticed the use of diagonal lines and typography.
Seattle Art Museum Brochure
I chose to design a Seattle Art Museum (SAM) brochure that included three visiting exhibitions: Yves Saint Laurent, Yayoi Kusama, and Andrew Wyeth.
National Parks App
Throughout the semester, we learned how to use Adobe XD in class. For my final project, I wanted to design an app for National Parks similar to a visitor guide. I created a promotional page advertisement for the app that promotes and demos how users can navigate the app.
Symbol and Logotype
I developed a detailed pig drawing into a simplified drawing, a typographic trademark, and a combination mark.
