Case Study: Homer City Redevelopment

logo and brand development

An energy client came to request a new brand, logo and website. The client’s project is developing a power site is evolving to become a cleaner, renewable energy campus and they wanted a look and feel to match the redevelopment. The client requested to keep a similar look as the old logo but remove the featured smokestacks. Through many sketches, we decided on a clean mark with text that used a similar layout as the old logo. The mark represents the four pillars of HCR (power, water, land and connectivity) that come together to form a spark of energy with the negative space.
